MUSE -The Drones Tour

Gary @Jack Ratt is James Shead on Youtube? If he is, when I get up I'll check him out (on my tablet at the mo screen too small for my tired eyes lol)
I like David Gray so should like him :)

I have only heard of them because our almost 22 year old son went to see them a couple of years ago. I'm not a big music fan but we did see Bruce Springsteen in 2013.

I'd love to see Bruce Springsteen before either him or I "pop our clogs"

I've edited my earlier post with a vid. He's really good

Did you see them at NEC ?

No it was the Barclaycard arena prev the NIA :)
They are digging up roads right in the centre of B'ham thank god we don't live there must be a nightmare if you travel to the centre everyday by car :hungover:

Good Morning everyone, in answer to your observations…….
Up late because took us an hour to get out of carpark, bl* **y roadworks meant every one had to go one way what a nightmare @Andy McDonnell

As you can see @Grumpy I am now awake not too bad considering, and before you ask yes I'm still in bed, don't want to rush =))

Slight ringing in the ears @Shelly but worth it :)

What time did you get home Pauline :p
Glad you had a good time ;)

@Jack Ratt Can see it now Gary, I forgot it helps to hit the refresh button sometimes lol
He sounds really good, I like singer songwriters when you can actually hear what they are singing :)

About 1.15am then had to have a cuppa so that's why I was on the forum so late/early lol

You deserve a good lay-in then Pauline :p
Have a relaxing day too ;)

I ended up with several of his Muse albums in my iTunes library - some brilliant tracks amongst them. Very technically able musicians. Much of what our kids listen to is cr*p but theres some good stuff out there too.
Not as good as what we had of course ;)

He went to school with our son and he says he has stayed over at our house on "sleepovers" but I can't remember that far back, lol
Yes, he is really good, all his own songs too. He has a band too, but last night it was a solo gig in a local pub. It was free to see him play and there were only about 30 people in, but at the end of the night they didn't want him to leave. I hope he makes it, he's a proper talent, a self taught musician. There are a number of his songs on You Tube.

He spent his deposit for his first house on his demo tape and trawled it around the record companies, but he's still waiting for a proper break.

I would if I could but things need doing so going to be a good girl now and log off and make a start :p

I know the feeling Pauline :p
A woman's work is never done ;)

Why were you all up at 1.30am! It's nearly getting up time for me!

+ 1 hour for me, that's the time the bars close over here.

they'll be in their pit until at least dinner time!

Woke up spot on 12.00 hrs but was up at 06.00 yesterday, courtesy of my neighbour, street market blokes banging on my door asking me to move his car, again. Could not wake him up so they had it towed, that's gonna cost him..!

His name is James Shead and he's a multi instrumentalist and he's from Looe in Cornwall.

Like that..

this is my favourite Muse track volume up top down :)

Still sound like Coldplay....

Lucky you Hugh, went to see them there a while back, we both agree one of the best concerts we have been too even though Chris Martin can't really sing. It's all about the performance :)
Do you have a spare ticket, I'm really good company lol

Chris Martin is a showman

Freddie Mercury managed to be both! :) I'm afraid music and groups have by-passed me since mid 90's. I listen to radio2 if at all. I prefer to listen to music I grew up with.

Tony.
