nice job ~Pete... did mine myself and took me ages to do i would never do another set yours turned out better than mine.. mine looked like they were dragged out of a river, all stripped of tyres and unbolted them from the barrels with no snapped bolts... ground out the kerbing and polished the lips , gunmetal inners and lacquered barrels sanded and sprayed, complete with only half a lung left after the weeks of cleaning and grinding spraying...

l would have any one of the three sets as they all look real good on Z3/4 Pete. Glad you managed to save the originals. They might be fairly common but I think they look great on Z3. Wife was being kind to you as I wouldn't have give them up that easy. When you find something that works it doesn't matter how many other people have the same. IMO. Great job and persistence payed off.

Now they are fitted to the Z3 you can easily take them to the skip. Plus you don't have to make another trip to take that tatty old Z3 there
