Both Jill and I are orphans now. My Mom died in 1999 and Jill's Mom died 4yrs ago. Our boys will spoil Jill rotten though

Mine has been gone for 9 years but we still have Ian's. We're gathering there for tea on Saturday with me and his sister providing the food. I am hopeful that there will be a little something from my boys on Sunday.
 
Bag of pressies and cards left so that the offspring can look after yvonne on the big day. Tea and toast in bed to start ......:)
 
Mum has asked for a tea cosy pmsl
She knows I am now skint after my recent purchase but a tea cosy =))=))=))

That's the right attitude Mark, this is the first year I have not looked at mothers day cards it's so sad :(

Yes, Pauline, we know how you feel, we are going back on Sunday to visit Mike's Dad and put some flowers on both Mum's graves. Kate is coming to her Grandad's to see us, so she won't have to go as far as Heacham!

@EnthuZiaZT It's unfortunately part of getting old :(
Sad time but it will be nice for you to see Kate, I will not see either of mine, Victoria is probably working and Matthew, well he's Matthew so I might get a card then again I might not :whistle:
Both coming home during the week so it will be nice to see them then even though it will be a sad day
