Well that time of the year has come and gone this morning and I am pleased to say my ///M sailed through yet again with no advisories.

Mind you I did have to strip down the induction down to the throttle bodies as it wasn't idling too well but after a good clean and check of all the vacuum pipes it was purring again. Also realised I have only done 700 miles in the last 12 months which must be close to you you Mark (@M666BMG).:D

Taking mine in a hour. Second attempt at a different testing station as first one failed it on emissions. Only done 1500 miles this year.

Good luck mate.

Tony.

I always make sure engine is fully up to temp, having an oil temp gauge does help though.

Well done on getting another's year MOT :p

Hope yours passes too @Grumpy :)

What was the emissions at then?

Tony.

ps. You can PM me if you like.;)

Garage tried everything to get them down replaced CAT in the end
I feel your pain, mines been off road a month trying to decide where to go with it. Cat, no cat, additives, lambda, bloody nightmare! Got throught without any in the end!

Hi @Grumpy great to see it has passed. Looks as if the previous place testing equipment was out of calibration then. I wonder how many more have failed and then cost loads to fix when no need.
