I see a new air filter has been advised in one of the above posts.
How often should it be changed I looked up my services records my last air filter was 7 month 2014 at 72 k
Car now just over 78 k with Mot due in August would you change it.?
My last service was last year but only minor oil service.

Take it out and have a look how bad it is Tracy. I would very much doubt it will need changing at that mileage though.

Just looked up the price of an air filter. Wow they are so cheap I will get one whilst it's apart for inspection so it's done then.

well thats a relief Paul, Bessie went through her mot yesterday thank goodness,also paid the road tax last month has gone to £305 !! and thats on the 2.2 whats it on the Ms now ?

My Z4 3.0i is £305. Due at the end of the month.:(

Most M's will be £245 as they were registered before Apr 1 2001, after that they will be £305.
