Going to put this here, should it be in the wrong section sorry.

So the coupe I bought blind off eBay, just in the middle of the Beast from the East, earlier in the year sailed through its MOT today. Have to say that without the help from the Zshed guys, it would have been a very different story, so again thanks, hugely appreciate the help.

Also to Andy, Spurs fan for sorting out parts for me, again very much appreciated.

Back to today, took the car for a bit of a blast before the MOT just to clear it out, tested with no issues or advisories and almost perfect emissions ( can't say the same about myself, but heyho) so all in very happy.

Hi thanks I took a chance on this coupe, picked it up in freezing fog, very poor visibility with huge snow drifts still by the roadside. Really did not look around it, in fact although very cheap for a coupe it would still have been a lot of money to have thrown away.

Saw it drive in and knew I had to have it, complete heart over head moment, but thanks to the guys at the Zshed and Spurs fan, it has turned out to be a great project and a great coupe.

Went out for a curry tonight to celebrate the mot, (that will not help with the emissions) I'm fairly sure @hard top can explain the concept of a Dutch oven.

Good news Andy. You've done plenty getting it right. Maybe now you can start enjoying it.
