MOT failed - broken front spring

Well got dreaded phone call from garage doing MOT yesterday - Car has failed!!
Nearside front spring snapped and I’d got a nail in my rear tyre.
The car felt fine on the drive down to the garage so hadn’t realised the spring was damaged. Checked tyre pressures over the weekend so nail (actually a undertray self tapper when I got puncture repaired) must have been picked up on way to garage.
I’ll get springs fitted next week and then retest.

Ah well, not too bad. These cars have been around a bit so there's always likely to be something. Soon be sorted.
