Got one side off today in between a few other jobs but had a bit of a mishap, well two of them actually. First one, I broke drivers door mirror when I folded it in to allow me to squeeze past it in my garage. I've got a spare though so that's another job to add to the list.
Then when I was fitting the new trailing arm bush to the wishbone it was a tight fit so a I gave it a bit of help by banging it with a hammer and I cracked the cast bush housing. Just ordered replacements from Ebay.
I'll try and f**k up the other side tomorrow
Got to install a dish washer first so I better put Southwest Water on standby
You are meant to tick off the jobs as you do them - you're doing a good job adding to the list. I know the feeling though, I tend to add to the list too!
If you need a hand with hammers I love smashing things too! Working in tight spaces is a b........ks! Good luck with the rest of the work - watch the knuckles....and....don't forget to do the dishes!

My new bushes came today, only ordered them on Monday afternoon. I reckon I can finish it off in no time now she's all stripped ready
All done now. Just got to put her wheels back on and then I can sort the door mirror.
MOT booked for Saturday morning. Just got to fix my door mirror and I'm good to go
Door mirror fixed, going to have a quick road test for the new front wishbones, make sure I've fitted them properly then MOT at 9am Saturday morning
Passed MOT this morning.
Initially failed because my 2 front wheels were on the wrong way round, must have shuffled them when I took them off to do the wishbones, but 5 mins later, wheels swapped and she passed.

Forgot to add that the guy who did my MOT is also a Z3 owner. He has a 1997 manual 2.8 in Estoral Blue. So I took the opportunity to hand over a Zorg card and a verbal invite to join us. He said he would so I'll be keeping a look out for him
