What a day - MOT passed with no advisories.
New shocks and top mounts fitted all round
New control arms, lollipops, drop links and track rods fitted
Gearbox oil changed
Slight oil leak fixed - new rocker cover gasket

Can't believe it's snowing, so will try it out when dry again.

Thanks everyone

It's testament to the build quality of these cars if looked after properly- 20 years old in December.
Funny thing is they tested her before any of the new components were fitted?

Got her out for a run today........the difference is quite staggering.

Much more compliant ride now...no longer holding on for dear life.

Can't believe the old track rod ends etc are all original bmw stamped 1997.

Rear shocks were bilstein and still in good nick, but the front were well past their best originals.
