Morning all.
MOT day today for wee zippy
I bought her with a years ticket on her so it's the first MOT Iv put her through. Hopefully she passes as I've checked over most things I could think of and fixed quite a lot over the past year so if she fails on anything it will be something I've overlooked.
Wish me luck

hey all thanks for the good luck however it was a fail. track rod end excessive play and headlights not aligned to low...

just after the emission test however the car decided to spit the dummy out and blow a hose off the coolant pipe and p*** itself all over the MOT ramp.

so I'm on my way to go recover the car from the garage and take it to my garage and spend the next few nights sorting it out

:(

sorry it wasn't good news :(

These things happen - should sail through next time, now that the faults have been identified, including any others that arise in your pre-check before testing - good luck!

If you've had to remove the inlet manifold, definitely replace the gasket, not worth the risk of leaving it on.

Tony.
