Mot 6 month extension to end.

I didn’t want the extra 6 months extension :)
Just in case their was something wrong with Snow White and I didn’t notice it :)
I had my normal mot on Friday and she passed with flying colours :)
 
Over the last 3 months Shelly a lot of people have taken the extended date as my test numbers way down lucky if I have done 1 full normal months worth of mot over the last 3 months.
This means that now there will be a glut of mot's later in the year ( mainly Oct,Nov &Dec) when it is usually quieter.

Gary if your test is due on 10th August you won't get any extended date.
You can mot your car like you say after 11 July up to 10th August and you will get your 1 year plus any extra days still left on the the calendar month before the expiry date but that's all you will get.

As the 6 month extension because of covid is only applied around 5 days before expiry date so will not apply to you.
 
Had my MOT done a month or so ago. Tester mentioned that many people had taken the "MOT holiday". Given that he said around 20% of cars fail their MOT in normal times, there must be a lot of cars driving around with defects at the moment.:(
 
One of the first to get the original extension for the Z4, but she flew through the other day with a couple of advisories :thumbsup:

Does the extension automatically get added or do you need to apply? Apologies for the ignorance!
 
Automatically applied Brian approx 5 days before expiry (as long as expiry is before August 1st).
