Was thinking of you last night. The report I saw last night was that most of the models showed the storm heading toward Orlando hitting the coast with a minimum of a Cat 3+. Sounds like trouble. I haven't seen the latest today. Hope you'll be OK............Frankie
 
Thanks mate,we appreciate that. They're now saying it's likely to be a Cat.4 storm and most likely a direct hit on the east coast. :(

We have friends over there this weekend so will possibly call in some favours regarding putting patio furniture in the house so it doesn't end up as missiles to damage ours or other local houses. Also if the house they're in is damaged they can ask us for codes to use our house if needed. Hoping we "dodge he bullet" this time too. Yes we're being greedy but what else is there?

Nuke them? We all know who suggested this.

Obviously the environmental repercussions are outside the commentator’s threshold of comprehension.

Hope all are safe and it’s not bad.

Then there’s the burning of the Amazon Rainforest. Completely preventable, irresponsible and capitalism gone bonkers.
 
You're right. The federal aid will be there in no time when it's Uncle Donald's (I used to call him that when I worked for him at The Plaza in A.C.) house is involved. I hear now it might be a Cat 4 by the time it hits the coast, then a Cat 1 inland...............Frankie

Perhaps they'll stop calling it the Amazon RAIN FOREST since there doesn't seem to be ANY RAIN in sight...........Frankie

That's the way it's looking Frankie, soon after it crosses the coast they say it will turn and head north up state right through the centre of the state. It is what it is and all we can do is wait and hope, as usual. We have friends who we've asked to call and take video of the house all round outside just in case we have to make any claims, then we have a record of the condition of the house before the storm. This was suggested on WFTV.com this evening.
