The down side to a metal GEAR knob is that they're not nice to touch on a freezing morning, luckily I only have to select D with my shiny cold selector and then it's point and press as my mate used to say.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, what would she say if you came home having changed your nob to a black one. ( it's ok Gaz we're still talking gear nobs here). I hope.????Its that theres very little chrome in the car its all black and beige i think it may be more pleasing to the eye.
I blame Noddy HolderSorry everyone but I've left the K out, never was much good at spelin in skool
Surreal....this thread has made me think about driving around all day in a 75 with BMG......it's ok Gaz we're still talking gear nobs here). I hope.????
It's got to be done Tony. It's a hard job but road testing just has to be done after every jobRoad tested (@Mint) up to the post box for Shirl.
Can't think for the life of me???????. Spacers on, No ???????? Give us a clue. You just have to take it when you can get it Roy. One more addition for tomorrow.

Still waiting to have a go at mine @Antm72, maybe get a chance this week, that one of yours looks the biz.i've been in the garage all day.Not been too happy with the colour match on the gills i could try a different paint but decided i would go with a wrap.
Got a fairly decent carbon fibre wrap and had a crack at.
Will post pics to morrow but pleased with how it looks.
Changed the rear magnetic guards to match and may wrap the door handle too to tie it all together.
Wrapping certainly takes patience the first go i scrapped but realised its all in the heat and stretch of the film and with work it yeilds results its fiddly but worth it.
Have a pic of one of my stone guards recovered they look quite smart in the car certainly different!!

Easy for you now you've set the standard, think I might end up just getting a blue Z like yours.Easy to do Roy the fills where more involved as lots of shape to them but even so not too difficult after a go at it
