The insurance on my Zed is up this month so I have decided to offer it for sale on the forum only to gauge interest. A very closed group I know but somebody might be wanting to get into a car with a bigger engine. We are about to make an offer on a smaller house that has no garage and we have 4 cars between us so it makes sense to start offloading them now.
I bought the car cheap but I have invested plenty of time and money getting it to where it is now. Still plenty to do but it is very presentable as it is if you are not after a show car.
Excellent bodywork and extended leather interior with period sports seats. Full set of matching continental tyres and will come with 12 months mot currently just over 98000 miles but will go up slightly as I use it when the mood takes me. Anybody on here it’s £3000.

Thanks Tony. Priced to sell but if not I will insure it again and maybe look for a cheap little unit locally to keep the toys in until I get a garage built at the new place. I will still be able to borrow the wife’s Zed now and again or I would be gutted to let this one go.

@Geoff Crispin This could be one to look at
Thanks Stacey but I really want a 3ltr that's a 2.8 with 98000 bit to high for what I have in mind.
Looks like the Silverstone car has gone if buyer turns up this weekend, my son Mat is going to look at a 3ltr in Essex for me on Sunday so fingers crossed:)

Why are you sooo set on a 3.0 and low mileage?? Low mileage can mean that the old perished parts haven't been replaced and you could end up with a massive amount of work to do There is 2.0 with 24,000 for sale on here
@Lazzzydog great price and I love this wide body over the facelift

Thanks for the kind comments. The truth is that Z3 values seem to be at rock bottom at the moment so it is a bad time to sell. I expect they will rise again in time as these things seem to go in cycles. Good for buyers though when you can get a fairly decent 1.9 for around the £1000 mark.

Why were you set on a Daker M ?
Your message was the first for a few weeks that I got a notification on.
My son Mat is not now going to look at the 3ltr in Essex as the seller is letting some one look at it before him so I pulled out as will not be drawn into that sort of pressure from a seller.

I wasnt set on a dakar M just wanted a dakar and it just appeared and I wasn't really looking to be honest
The right car will appear for you as well
I wouldn't discount a higher mileage or a 2.8 You maybe presently surprised

There are fewer 3ltrs about and should hold their value or even go up

Wow, that could be Z3lda's twin, (apart from rear mudflaps, wheels, exterior chrome pack and lack of armrest.)

:drinks:

Bonzo.
