On start up engine light on and running lumpy, mate of mine plugged it in and says misfire on cylinder 6, replaced coil and new plugs fitted, any ideas are welcome.
Thanks

Have you had a reader on it, if so did it throw any codes up?

Hi
Yes it did, my mate did took a photo of the codes, it was some time ago but I'm sure he will still have them or I can get him to plug it in again an record the new codes and let you know, can't wait to get it up and running and start enjoying it.

I'm no expert, but could be an injector issue. May also be worth looking at the air intake pipework (filter to throttle), it is prone to cracking and letting in unmetered air.

Agree with eddies comment. I would go one step further and take all the induction system off up to the inlet manifold. It's more likely to be a seal that's perished sucking in unmetered air causing the misfire.

Have you pulled the plug on cyl 6 and had a look at is condition? That will give you a clue.

Hi,
Thanks for that, will look at the air intake and have a good look, failing that I will let my local garage do a diagnostic and see what's what , will let you guys know the outcome of this and It may help other fellow zedders should it happen again.
Thanks again.
Best wishes. J
