I've put together another route around the Peak District and we decided to do a recce on Sunday as the weather forecast was OK. Set off with the roof down but when we got to our first tea stop I decided to put the roof up. Good job as it pi55ed it down:(.
After refreshments and drying the car we set off towards Hope and Wynatts Pass. Stopped for our picnic in a layby, which @Bozzy, you''ll recognise;), before finding our way back down to another tea room via the Manifold Valley and Wetton Tunnel. Unfortunately the roof was up, then down then up most of the afternoon. The last hour was the best, sunny and dry.

Yep I think I recognize that lay by, that sentence just sounds wrong .
Was itching to get out yesterday but I had to sit on the naughty step waiting for ones offspring to arrive with lots of chocolate, so not all bad :hungry:.

I nearly messaged you to see if you wanted to come but then realised it was Fathers Day;)

We were on top of Weaver Hill, it's only single track up there so I had to get off the road for a photo;). Great view though:thumbsup:
