Well the weather forecast was correct, a glorious top down day, all day. We were out in the Peaks/South Yorkshire doing a recce, checking roads and timings for a run I've planned. Coffee stop, then lunch then another coffee/cake stop what's not to like. Very little traffic and dry roads, great fun, and 170 miles in the bag.

A few pics...

Hope the weather is as good when we do the run proper 🤞

Is that Yonderman Cafe ? Holme Moss, Langsett Reservoir.

Would have popped out, but glued to the work laptop (sadface) (shuttup) 🤣

Yes dave.if your up north playing and you want a tail gunner let me know.i usually spend Friday to Sunday thrashing about sth Yorkshire Notts and East midlands Single manned.
Nice photos .I 🥸👍.

I love the Yondermans breakfast and their pulled pork sandwich and their French onion soup - well you get the idea =))

I always turn left out of there along the A623 then right at Sparrowpit - that small stretch of road to Winnats Pass which eventually turns back on itself to join the A6 is an absolute corker

What’s not to like about a sunny day and a soft top down too? Great photos Dave. Where’s this one?

I'll bear you in mind next time Paul , sometimes it's a [very] last minute decision though;)

Yep, can't beat a Yondermans brekky. Does get a bit busy at the weekends though.

Will try your suggested route one day. We normally do Hope > Castleton > Winnats Pass > Edale and back to Hope, great little run round.

Hi Dawn, this is the road across Langsett Reservoir, Alex got it bang on.
Looks great Dave. And the best trips are last minute decisions. Looks like you had a fab day out.

Looking forward to hearing the dates for the run Dave
Lee, see post #13;), although we may have to find an alternate meet point for you:whistle:
