Another successful visit to Mint Towers from Barry & Jan (@Bazza), Alan & Maxine (@Alan Slade). After travelling up on Monday we enjoyed home cooking from Pauline (@Mrs Mint) with a drink....or two.
Tuesday we were joined by Jack & Jean (@Jack Daw) and Steve & Sara (@Bozzy) for a cruise round our local playground - The Peak District.. A gentle pootle up to The Old Hall Hotel @ Hope for lunch, then back down to Tissington for tea and cake. We were very lucky with the weather so it was a great top down day. Great weather, roads, food & drink and of course company. Thanks to you 'Southerners' for making the trip all the way up to Staffordshire.. A few pics from me:

It was a top day out Dave and we thoroughly enjoyed being honorary retiree 's for the day, could get used to that :D.

Really nice to meet up with Jan + Baz, Alan + Maxine again, also a pleasure to meet @Jack Daw aka Jack, Jean and their lovely little poochy.

It was at the top of Winnats Pass Tony, which is in Castleton. It was just after we'd had dinner in the town at the old hall.
It is a really nice area to visit if you get the chance.
 
Yes another great weekend Zedding thanks to Pauline and Dave, and enjoy everyone’s company.
 
We really enjoyed the weekend. The scenery was wonderful.
Thanks to Pauline and Dave for their hospitality. The first apple crumble was far superior to the second one. I'm addicted you know.
Great time, even if the Micky Flanagan sketch was very apt at the time. Good to see Bazza having a laugh in difficult circumstances. Hope you are better now and never have to drain an old radiator.

Plenty of chances in the future Dave. The Bozzies & us had an impromptu run out for a picnic yesterday.:whistle:

It was another excellent day with you two, weather turned out great after a cold, gloomy start to the day :cool:.
