Do you run yours as a daily then Lee?
It just depends where I am working. If possible my 2.0l will go to where I am working and I get the train, plane etc down to it and then use it locally where I am; this is why I bought it in the first place when I was working in Gosport and flying down to Southampton every week.

At present I am in Bedford which isn't the easiest of places to get to from mine via public transport so although I have left it down there and travelled by train to Milton Keynes etc I generally drive there and back and rotate which car I take - that way they all get used but by definition is spreads the mileage.

Having said all that, I would have no problem with using any of them as a daily, they all have fair mileage on them :
A5 - 125,0000
Z3 - 148,000
Z3M - 95,000
Sportage - 100,000
Porsche 996 - 115,000

Maintenance is the key - ironically my motorbike has only got 15,000 miles (7,000 in the last 10 years; 500 in the last 3 years) and the lack of use for it is causing problems.

We don't do a deal between the 3 cars.
Saab 09 plate now done 47000, about 6000 a year.
Freelander S plate done 130000, doing about 7000 a year.
Zed is on 93000. Doing about 2000 a year. I really need to use it a bit more.
Selling the Saab and freelander this year and I don't want the Saab to go over 49500 so may end up parking that up in a bit and using the Zed daily for a while.

might as well... will be good for it and better for the smiles too...

Our Sportage is the next to be replaced and Im seriously considering giving up the A5 at the same time and just buying 1 SUV. That would mean I could keep the 2.0l as my daily and use the 996 and the //M as my toys. (plus I really would have no way of getting to work when it snowed!!)

Yeah be nice to get in the Zed at the end of the day and drive home from work with the roof down on a nice evening. Even if it is only 6 miles!
