Thanks everyone.
I have a Z4 2003.
Looks great and drives well but get all the usual problems - drivers window doesn’t go up or down and electric mirrors go in / out when they choose to. Currently my Only Key ( no spare ) needs replacing ! Does anyone know if I can still post the key and EWS to Mike ?? And if there is an address or email link please ??

No worries with the key
I can still drive - just can’t lock it at the moment.

Have you tried to re learn the key ?

Hi Mike, window regulator cable is a good suspect. Can't help with the key I'm afraid. I would try unplugging the mirror control switch and see if the problem persists.

Have you tried to re learn the key ?

Thanks Billz- no - tried to replace the battery in the key with solder but made a hash of it - you need to have delicate fingers which I don’t have.
Took battery out in the end so will need to get a new key. Thanks M
