We went out for dinner with some F1 fan friends on Thursday evening as they were heading down to Miami for the weekend. Told us last night that at the circuit prices were, unsurprisingly, raised at $5 for a bottle of water and $10 for a bottle of bud.
Their accommodation is only 3 miles from the circuit and an Uber from there to the circuit was $12 so not too bad. However on leaving the circuit a taxi driver wanted $100 to take them back, an Uber car who was just loitering also wanted the same. They managed to find some WiFi and booked an Uber who wanted “only” $34.

ps. When we went to Vegas a few years ago you could buy ice cold bottled water on the streets for $1.00, I wonder how much they are now?
