Decided I'd had enough of my old mountain bike, it's heavy and decidedly unpleasant to ride, especially since I got the Schwinn, so off I trolls to the bay of e to find this

Nice and cheap, and economy delivery, too, which is nice since anywhere is a long way from here. New frame got V brake fittings, so out with the CAD.

Turn that into real second-hand steel, and swear at the welder for a while.

Do the same for the other end, faff about for a while, and

Just needs a bit more finishing and adjusting, but the unicorn got in the way.

It's been out for a spin now, and, surprise surprise, it works. Now to strip it, tidy up all the old V brake brackets (got to keep the weight down, y'know) and give it a damn good sanding ready for a respray. Rattle-can, obvs. Don't know why, but Topaz Blue frame, the already-black wheels, and the worlds smallest yellow calipers seems awfully tempting.

It'd match the Z, too, being as that's Topaz Blue, with black wheels and yellow calipers. And the Honda NT650, all the same corporate colours.
