Looking for some help with this.
I have just got the OEM mesh deflector with with zip down centre.

I have the little screws that go into the rear of the shelf which hold down the the rear of the deflector.

So when I try and screw it in it doesn't seen to screw into anything - is it supposed to screw into the metal work under the trim or into a nut that that is missing?

I think I could simply sort it with an appropriate size nut and washer but to look properly I need to take off the hoops to get to that part of trim. So just until I get a chance to do that I'm just checking with other experience.

There is a metal fastener @Dino D that clamps around the plastic trim, these tend to break over time, they cost a few pence to replace but require the rear storage area to be stripped down :banghead:

Item 8 on the diagram below shows it best :)

Thanks Brian. Thought it might be one if those, actually have a set of them from Halfords as there are so many on our cars that need fixing/get lost when you strip the interior...

I must have dislodged them when I stripped out the rear to fit sound deadening to stop rattles from my upgraded sub enclosure...

Don't enjoy the whole interior strip down so much anymore, fiddly work!
