@t-tony, I'm staying near Coventry next weekend all so more than happy to meet up on either the Saturday (after Soft Tops have fitted my new back window circa 12:00 hrs finish) or Sunday. Just let me know where and at what time to see how long it will take to drive over. Any excuse to put some more "roof down smiles" on my face.

We're allowed 1 case each in economy Pauline up to 23 kg. At bag drop when they weigh them they do allow up to 25 kg MAX. Strangely though ours are always around 24.8 kg ! Anything over 25 kg and then they charge from 23 kg upwards. On the return flight they didn't even weigh cabin bags, so inconsistent.Sounds like a mini meet starting up

The luck was with you Tony.
When we went to NZ last year weighed our cases the night before and we were over by 5kg (we had 60kg between us) so had to take a few things out (mainly Dave's stuff lol)
But our problems started on our way home. We had to keep moving things around from each case to our hand luggage trying to make sure the cases were the right weight.
Had to wait a while for one of our small trolley cases thought it was lost, and of course now hadn't got a clue what was in it. Turned up eventually, good job there was some important stuff in there (hair straightners
)
Happy days wish we could go again maybe in a few years time.

No dramas for the Saturday as long as it's about 13:00 hrs or so.Yes it is, so fingers crossed he will, being retired I can come any time, if the Z is being worked on I'll steal the wife's Fiat and wear a mask.

Great news from Andy being able to make it, so who've we got so far?, let's see how good my non memory is; T-Tony, Rha, Andy McDonnell, Bossy, Grumpy, Atm72, numbers are looking good for a mini meet Tony that's six so far, wonder if anyone else is near enough that might be interested, would you consider throwing it open to all ?????.
Just waiting for Tony to get back to us Andy, I can make either day and looks like it could be either day at the moment. I'll be joining the A1 at Hatfield to avoid the roadworks on M1 and stay on it most of the way even though it's a little out of my way, when I whent up to the pub meet I got stuck on M1 and only just made it to the meet up point so even if it's a longer way round it's a nice drive up on A1. Just hope we can rely on the weather.
