As the day was going to be dry I was up nice and early and out the door to give the old girl an over due wash.

Followed by a visit to spend some quality time with Mom and as always a list of little jobs she wants doing.

On route for home I popped into Halfords for a pack of Auto Glym Fabric Hood Cleaner Soft top Roof Restorer.

Back home for lunch and back out to my Z3 to use some back to black on the dash and door cards and I'm pleased I did as they look so much better. My hands were so black once I'd finished and all I could hear was zroadster.org members say where's your gloves

Then it was the roofs turn to be cleaned and water proofed.

Job well done.

yep i get a list of jobs too, though today i gave it a miss (i wasnt going to but the thought of having a drive in the zed over powered the visit to mothers), still didn't get the drive out though as other stuff cropped up:( but i did get to drive to Stanton and Alderton both with the top down (thats not counting the numerous trips to the shops)

flippin typical, first bit of decent sun and i couldn't go cruzin with fellow zedders:(

You can not beat a little Zed pampering

Other than seeing mom earlier today it's just been the two of us and it'sbeen great caring for her.

Looking good Steve I see you gad the sense to mask up your car. That autoglym hood kit really good but if you get any of the waterproof stuff on your paint or windows it's a pig to remove once dried . I done mine in April and my roof still beads up nicely when rains rather than soaking in.:)

The zeds looking great Steve and the roofs turned out well too great work

I did mine last year but as my zed lives outside I'd thought I would do it again ready for the winter.
