I have a Z3 3.0 manual in black with hardtop and tonea cover. 114 k a few minor issues ie window regulator, stitching around softop window. I'm trying to get a rough idea of value as I've just had a hand operation and may need something a little less powerful. Any ideas as the valuations fluctuate so much

That's a shame but hopefully physiotherapy will give you some useful mobility back in your hand. Price is subjective to what you and buyers think it's worth as prices appear all over the place at the moment but might be worth sorting the window regulator out at least to help with price. I'm sure @spurs fan in a coupe might be able to sort the part out for you and I'm sure a localish forum member can give you some assistance to fit if needed.

If you need to sell though have a look at pistonheads and auto trader to judge yours against. Maybe a member on here might want a engine upgrade on here and consider a swap with cash or something like that??

It's best to have a look on Ebay, Gumtree and Autotrader. But don't get sucked in by asking prices. You are interested in what items were actually sold for. Or where something goes unsold it's a clue it's too much.

As a rough guide I'd say between £4k and £5k at this mileage. Evidenced by these 2 listings.

But it depends if it's a Sport model, it comes with the hardtop and of course general condition. The 2 problems you mention are not a huge deal to fix.

It also depends on time of year, now not great, how much of a hurry you're in and if anyone (preferably more than one person) actually wants one at that point in time. They are not to everyone's tastes, eg the road tax is £500 which is a bit steep.

I'll have a 2.2 for sale if you want to stick with a Z3 but downsize. It won't be ready for 2-3 months but perhaps that would fit with you. By the time I've finished with the 2.2 I'll have gone through it carefully and have it properly sorted.

I'd be happy to look at my 2.2 plus cash. The mileage is a bit high for me but if the rest of the car checks out it's not such a problem.
