Hi all,
Are there any insurance experts out there?
Having nothing better to do over breakfast this morning I actually read the small print of my Markerstudy policy.
I was rather taken aback at a clause refering to the daily driver car, the posession of which is a stipulation of Classic Car insurance. Please see the pic, clause S04, second paragraph (iii). It states that the daily driver car should not have an annual mileage limitation.
It's a fair bet that we all have some form of mileage limitation. When applying for insurance we state an expected mileage for the year whether it be 1000 or 100000 miles per year and this forms part of the basis for the calculation of price. How then can they expect our daily cars not to have a mileage limitation? Surely we all are not contravening the terms of our insurance?
If I could respectfully ask for replies from members past or present of the Insurance Industry rather than opinion.
Thanks,
Chris
