Mark Specific Threads As Read

Hi Gaz, Is it possible for a user to permanently mark certain threads as read regardless of updates?

I usually read the RECENT POSTS and read the ones in there that I am interested in, however that means my WHATS NEW icon stands at around 6000 unread which annoys my OCD. There are some threads that I really have no interest in so would happily have them always marked read despite any new updates and keep the others marked as unread so I know where I am upto.

As far as I am aware, you can only mark all forums as read.
When you are in 'Whats New' you will see this on the right.

There is a plugin which allows that, but I can't implement it until I've done some updates to the forum core. I'll add it to the list though!

For now, using the Mark Forums Read link will clear the counter. I use it once I've read what I'm interested to clear the counter.
