will this benefit my 2.8 twin vanos, if so, which one do I need to source, and how much of a job is it for an absolute car numpty to change?? Or anyone near cardiff capable of doing it for me, cheers

You need:
- manifold off of a M54B30 with DISA valve (DISA is bigger than your current one)
- Throttle body adapter plate, usually off E-Bay (to fit a M52TUB throttle to a M54B30 manifold)
- Manifold gasket
- 3.5mm rubber tubing, to replace any stuffed tubing you find.

Its a 3 out of 5 DIY, needs a good set of tools, clean and methodical approach, ability to work out how things fit (not forced) and the ability not to drop things down open engine ports.

This conversion will give you the car you want and what BMW should have done in the first place. I have just done this to my coupe and the difference is night and day.
