Hi Gary.
Had it five years but not had any bother. Got an annoying squeak when I drive over small bumps in town, seems to be front off side but got it booked in for an MOT next weekend and they will check it out for me. It has a easy life though, about 1000 miles a year just to keep the oil flowing.

Every cloud has a silver lining mate. Mine is coming off the road at the end of the month. I only use it on Saturdays after the clocks alter as it is very difficult getting out of work at home time. Then I'm in my Touareg till April.

I do mate if I have anywhere to go. I can't afford to insure it for the full year though, that's the crux of the matter.

Have you tried a limited mileage insurance or specialist insurers?
Yes.
How does your insurance work in the UK if you take your car off the road?
Over here you used to be able remove all other parts of the insurance and just keep fire & theft.
I read the other day that now you have to keep the car fully insured all year or go without any insurance what so ever...!!!
