Hi Zed people. Just joined after having my shiny silver Z 3 3.0 litre sport for five years. Still love cruising along listening to that nice deep throaty burble, which is just as well as the radio sucks :)

    Hey Mal,

Glad you found us. Car looks in great condition. I normally tell new members to shout if that have any questions, but you can probably answer them all after 5 years of ownership!

Welcome from Canada, Mal. After 5 yrs of ownership no sense telling you to enjoy the car. But, enjoy the ride here on the forum. JIM

    Hi Gary.
Had it five years but not had any bother. Got an annoying squeak when I drive over small bumps in town, seems to be front off side but got it booked in for an MOT next weekend and they will check it out for me. It has a easy life though, about 1000 miles a year just to keep the oil flowing.

    Hi T
    Hi Tony,
Based in Darlington so don't get Zed out much due to the North East weather. Keeps the mileage down

Every cloud has a silver lining mate. Mine is coming off the road at the end of the month. I only use it on Saturdays after the clocks alter as it is very difficult getting out of work at home time. Then I'm in my Touareg till April.:)

I do mate if I have anywhere to go. I can't afford to insure it for the full year though, that's the crux of the matter.:(:(

Have you tried a limited mileage insurance or specialist insurers?

How does your insurance work in the UK if you take your car off the road?
Over here you used to be able remove all other parts of the insurance and just keep fire & theft.
I read the other day that now you have to keep the car fully insured all year or go without any insurance what so ever...!!!
