I might look into getting some spacers made up to fill that gap at the top of the subframe bush.
Apparently it stops and lateral movement of the bush and makes a positive difference to the rear end.
Something like this

I doubt they make as much a difference with poly bushes and they are more firm anyway but I'm probably gona fit some anyway.
I don't have the measurements yet I'll need the outer diameter of the washer you get in the poly bush kit, and also the inner diameter which will fit over the hex shape at the top of the mounting pin. Then I'll need the thickness of the hex to get the thickness of the spacer correct.

The more I order the cheaper they will be so if anyone is thinking of doing main beambushes you may want to pre order.
Estimated £10 for a pair delivered to your door (non profit)

I know you have all recently done this, it would mean lowering your subframe again but interested?

Cheers

Also on this topic. Anyone have access to a machine shop and could even manufacture them?

I am interested.
If you want me to, I could get a couple of quotes from two machine shops I used, (when working ) but would need dimensions.

I'll have the measurements on Wednesday when I get home unless someone like @Faheem is able to get them while his subframe is still out.

@Davyhoogy, whilst it's tempting, I'd like to get everything bolted up tomorrow and never have to take it down again. =)) To get it all bolted up just to remove it again in a couple of months will be painful.

Happy to get measurements for you though pal. What is it specifically that you want me to measure?

I’d be interested in a set as probably need to do this job at some point. Although the idea of trying it fills me with fear My sloping driveway doesn’t help but my mother in laws double garage and nearby rolls Royce engineer brother in law might be an appealing option to do the job over winter. Time to start gathering the parts and then find out if I have the balls to attempt it

My drive has a bit of camber and it's awkward raising and lowering the frame level

I know that feeling lol.
It's these measurements
Diameter of the washer that comes in the bush kit.
The thickness of this bit... and also how big the centre hole will have to be to fit over that bit.

Mine is really sloped definitely can’t do it on there, could even jack it up safely. Can just about run the front up on ramps and jack the back but really not something I’d want to be under!
