This is a hot topic i cant seem to find a reliable source to read so was hoping i could create a new one.
I just pulled a whole intake manifold with disa, ccv and icv m54b30 from 2001 x5 3.0

I have a 2000 z3 2.8 m52tub28.
I know the gist swapping the manifold but i want to know if i could reuse fuel injectors, icv, fuel rails on my m52.

Things i read to swap.
Disa (bigger on m54)
Intake assembly
Adapter plate for my throttle body on m52tu

Should i get the fuel injectors on the x5 or reuse mine?
Also im deleting the ccv and fittibg oil catch can

This is my first and id be happy to do all the work and learn.
Thank you in advance!

Hi,

You can reuse your existing fuel rail and injectors if you like, I kept the same fuel rail and used the 3.0 injectors when I did mine. They swap over easily enough.

I tried a few setups of the oil catch can and couldn't get the pressures right, be interested to hear how you plan to do it.
