m43 oil leak

i thought it was the M at first :-o
but its not it came from the 1.9......if you look at the engine its coming from the right hand side of the block...so im going in and stripping it down to get to the block to see where its coming from....has anyone taken all the gubbins off?

hiya ray....im not sure iv never stripped it back to the engine block to find out where everything is....i'll see if i can find it on realOEM unless anyone has a pick of it in location

looks like i'll be doing a how to :))

abandon it...never...its just been waxed..again B-)
it looks like the oil pressure switch is just below the oil filter housing so i think that will be the first place i'll head for

Just get shot of it and have another M. Never had a drop of oil come out of my 1.9 so common problem i dont think so ;))

Anyway forget the oil leak , have you bought a hardtop yet, fitted mine the other day and was very impressed. ;)

swamper, looking at this, looks like you have a 1.8 8 valve motor......M43

I've never had a drop of come out of any of the Bmw's I've owned
I was refering the oil temp pressure switch
