pipes are off ready to be sent had to leave two pipes on though one being bottom rad hose as it looks a bit of head ache to get off but i think they already do those pipe anyway and the other pipe is on the bottom of the air box there was a jubilee clip at the top but a steel band on the bottom that looks like the only way to get it off is to cut it but it looks like it runs next to power steering pipes didn't want to risk hitting them but have taken off all the breathers and water pipes off header tank there is about 16 pipes/hoses in total

this is a photo of the water pipes minus the bottom rad hose

i was going to take the small pipes off the over flow from the header tank but I'm sure any hose company will have that size and diameter now to send them off

on further inspection i have found a split vacuum hose it comes from an electronic valve goes to a one way valve then carrys on under the throttle bodies and up into them it was split right on the elbo. so that will be changed too. also managed to get the hose off that connects to the bottom of the air box so there is 18 pipes in total. i am waiting for a reply from them to give me some sort of time scale for the completion of the pipes

i have done this upgrade with mine, its a common upgrade, now i only got the top two hoses done as thats all i could find, there is also a feed from the bottom of the rad, would love to also replace that, anyone ever come across it?
no one makes a full silicone kit for the z3 m s50 b32 as far as i know but they will do soon ;)

An alternative way is to use Samco products you can mix and match pipes, connectors, elbows, in all angles and diameters to give a custom set.
its prob only going to cost me £200 so i would rather do that and know they are exactly the same than have a load of jubilee clips and pipes to make the right bends

If I had that engine in my car I would be ordering a full set at the same time yours are made. I imagine that they are giving you a cost break as they are using your hoses and the more they could do would benefit any member joining in now. JIM

Just for the peace of mind changing to silicone is well worth the outlay! Anyone have a 1.9 from the Massive 44 they'd be willing to send their hoses in? I'll definetly be in for two sets. JIM

while i have been taking the pipes off i have found where my oil leak is coming from. it looks to be from the constant pressure valve so thats going to be changed. and there is a bit of oil leaking from the vanos solenoid plates so i am going to change the O rings on the solenoids. light weight fly wheel and new clutch has been ordered so when it gets back on the road should be a monster again :)

it would prob cost quite a bit but its easy enough to do with basic tools there a a few difficult ones but only because i have fat hards lol could prob do it in about 4 hours if your not to far away could always give a fellow z3 m owner a hand
