After a bit of a disaster having my rocker cover powder coated with lee my engine needs a bit of love. I priced up some professional rebuilds and there the best part of 7k and I don’t have that sort of money to put into it I’m going to try and do it as economically as I can over the winter.this is a video of the day we did a investigation of the problem.

I hope your crank is ok as when I knackered mine it was £1200 for a new one exchange that came with bearings but that was quite a few years ago. I went secondhand crank as mine was beyond salvage and had the replacement crank ground to the next sized bearings. Highly recommend a new oil pump which was not to badly priced.
