I think he's a frustrated teacher Frankie. Understandable if you are computer literate ...... I'm not. Born too late. Like in the song mate. That's why Gaz had to "tidy up" my parking brake cable fitting write up.:)

Tony - does this work on all types of cat? I have a CO emissions problem (.5%) which hardly changes on fast idle and had convinced myself cat is knackered. I was going to try a cleaner but there was a comment in a thread the other day (can't find it at the moment) that cleaner only works on certain types of cat convertor.
So how often do you put this stuff in your tank? Or is it best only to do it prior the MOT so it has a better chance of passing?

Hope this helps chaps, if you need more info, and I can get it for you let me know.

I think it might be a good idea for Gaz to give this a try even though it is no specifically for oil consumption. I had a Volvo using about as much oil as Gaz and decided to try an additive much like this. As I drove I could see my tach readings going up as things freed up and after two treatments found oil consumption was negligible. JIM

Will it grow hair?
I've just ordered a bottle so I'll let you know - mind you it may grow around your exhaust pipe and you don't want it there.;)

Hope she passes ;)
It always make me on edge waiting to see , if anything needs doing , fingers crossed she will be fine ;)

shelly...

they just need to be hot as hell when tested..find a friendly MOT tester.

drive her for a good 30 mins before ''italian tune up'' style and then get the emission test done the second you roll in..

they all run rich in start up for a good while unitl the engine managment leans out the mix.

mine failed first time but after a good blast up the A3 and the test done straight away she got through no probs and well within the limits..this after failing miserably the first time.

good luck!
