Very niceGet them on! now all you need are the Z3M side mirrors!....I put both on my 3.0 and love the look....99% of people who see it have no idea if they are standard items or not, if you like the look just do it!......the car did get a few admiring glances in the local BMW dealership when they were put on.

Good one.Ok ok. What about the fake grills though - can I put them on and take the ///M off?M badge on a non M engined car reads "plonker" to me; others will disagree. That said, BMW devalued the M badge years ago for marketing purposes, so it doesn't matter any more.
I just like the grills but donāt want to pretend my car is something itās not. I also like tinkering so taking the badges off and filling in the recess before painting is a little weekend project that Iād enjoy. So maybe thatās the way to go. CheersIf itās not an āMā most BMW petrol heads will know it. Personally I would cover the M badges and keep the side gills on cos they represent a touch of quality. Have a sign made up for your window saying I like my Z3 but would love an āMā cos at the end of the day thats what putting M badges on non M cars really means, of course this is only IMO. Most ordinary motorists wonāt notice or care.

That is interesting! Thereās lots of iterations of ///M, ///M sport from what I can tell. I once had a 1 series ///M sport as a courtesy car while mine (not the Z3) was in for repair and I was so surprised they would give me an ā///Mā till I drove it and realised it wasnāt! I reckon Iāll take them off - I think itāll look better without them as itās not the ///M version anyway. Even though I kind if wish it wasItās up to you at the end of the day, itās your car. Personally as a ///M owner I donāt care as been said BMW have devalued the usage anyway and in some circles they donāt class the MRoadster as a true ///M and even had that said which didnāt upset me because I donāt give a sh*** of about Willy waving.
I do like what Stevo has done with his gills quite individual. Nothing wrong with putting///M gills on if you prefer them over the shark ones. At the end of the day itās your car and whatās makes you happy and they do look more stylish but Iām going to be biased. As a point of interest though to get new ///M badges for my gills and boot BMW require my vin or bring my logbook in to prove ownership or they would not sell me any.
