//M badges - yes or no?

Many thanks to @spurs fan in a coupe - delighted with these 😁.

I need to change the colour to match the car (cosmos black) but I’m a bit conflicted on the //M badges as mine is a 3.0 not an //M.

My view is take them off and fill and smooth the recess before painting.

However, my wife’s view is keep them as there’s an //M on the steering wheel and gear knob. It’s my car but she’s my boss (😂)

Either way I love them and they’ll be going on soon but what do others think about keeping/losing the badge?

(Btw - I’m not one for false labelling normally. Apart from a turbo sticker I put on the back of my mini 850 in 1987 😂)
 
Your car mate, do as you please. Just be mindful of the ///M Police, it's 6 points on your license for displaying an unauthorised ///M badge on a non ///M car :whistle:

It's your car so you can do what you want, just enjoy it. Personally, I'm in the 'original' is best camp, but variety is the spice of life. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion on cars as well as everything else. I know it's hard to believe, but some people like Z3 coupes. Oh dear, put my foot in it again. :whistle: =))

That’s impossible to believe , no one likes a z3 coupe..... THEY LOVE THEM!!!

I think original is best too tbh but I love these side grills ( I will keep the originals too) 👍
 
I am one of the fortunate ones that I have one so it would be rude to comment... All I know is my friend has just bought a lovely 430 with M badges all over it but refuses to bring it to mine for fear of an exhaust count or a look at the (missing) M badge on the engine :whistle:

However, as most have said above - its your call (or the wife's by the sound of it !!)

If I hadn’t shown her she wouldn’t even have noticed. But she heard the doorbell unfortunately 😂.

I think I’m with you tbh - I’m gonna get another tailpipe and stick it on too 😂
 
Your car Michael, nothing to do with anyone else. My Z3 had the chrome pack and M Sport badges all over it and it was a 2.0
