At first I thought it’s M badge offender but seeing that it’s a 19 plate and had fancy wheels, I fear that BMW have figured out that the eBay sellers are making a killing on tatty badges and double sided tape. So naturally they now offer it has an option on even their most sporting of models...

OEM I’m afraid, first ///M performance now ///M competition.

On the m4 and m5 competition models they gain extra performance and higher spec than standard M models

It used to be the case that an M badge was saved for a car that was designed and built by M Division.

Then it was suspension or engine designed by M Division.

Now you get a badge if someone from the design department shared the lift with a guy who's brother once worked for the M Division.

That is true Gary the proper performance models get blended in with the many imposters.

If you follow the link really like the orange and black seats very tasty:thumbsup::D.

When you read up its quite a state of the art car using the very latest in technology for cars.
