A few of us made our way to Lydney. Gloucestershire and met up socially distanced at Nodzeds Zedshed, participants from Newport, Blaina, Worcester and 2 x Bristol, all but one in Z3's the odd one out being a Z4. Usual chat and the laptop was brought out and the now Non Crusty Dave's 2.2 was scanned as it had the MIL lit up. Codes for exhaust sensors found but cleared, didn't come back and further checked with Engine Check Pro software to see what live data they were giving out, all appeared to be performing ok, maybe Bank 2 bit slower than Bank 1. Given the 93k mileage Dave will be looking at replacing all of them in the meantime we await to see if the MIL returns. ABS has at least one fault showing pressure sensor, need to investigate that further.

Laptop onto Nodzeds car and only a few historical codes, nothing serious and all explainable from battery being disconnected in the past, all cleared and not returned. Interestingly this car would only communicate with INPA it wouldn't connect using BMW Scanner 1.4 like we did with Daves, I suspect its OBD1 and not OBD2 which Scanner 1.4 works on.

All in all an enjoyable social meet up, all went our seperate ways via Chepstow @handsomejackuk and me peeled off to have a look at the Estuary under the old Severn bridge before heading across country via Usk and stopping off at The Star PH in Mamhilad for refreshments. What should be in the car park but a red 2.2 with a hardtop on. Owner made himself known to us when we stopped to have a look so had a good chat with him and his mate. Details of Zedroadster.org passed on to him so he might well be joining us.
Nice day out was had by all.

Great day out guys. You should've taken the red Zed back to Niall's and used the Case to remove that hard top Al. ;)=))=)).
Looks like it was high tide on the Severn, would it be time of year for the "Bore"?

Tony.

Tide was out but fair amount of water comming down the river, The Severn Bore looks good next month may go and view it at Minsterworth if I remember on 19th September when its a 3* Bore due there at 10:09.
2020 timetable here http://www.thesevernbore.co.uk/timetable-2020/4594779633

Would like to see some video if you go Col! I've seen a few Aegir on the Trent but it isn't like the Severn Bore. I bought a picture from the old pub Landlords when they left years ago of one Aegir. I'll dig it out.
