woulf you guys suggest a 20 or 30mm and if so, what springs?
Once you start with mods its a very slippy slope and theres always something, as so many of us knowYep 30mm but I thought you wanted to keep the car stock, if so you could go with BMW sport springs but they are 15mm
Don't know what your talking about pal, I'm strictly a stock guy, after all I would hate to devalue my investmentOnce you start with mods its a very slippy slope and theres always something, as so many of us know![]()
That's a good point mate and that was the plan however, the seats are just great and I'm sure I'd struggle to get a set of sports seats in the same condition and at a sensible price! Secondly the 108's look fantastic, I briefly tried the standard 17's and wasn't too impressed so the issue is go to standard regardless or just enjoy the car as is. My feeling is to just enjoy the car as its looks great as it is - I don't feel a pressing urge to lower it to be honest but it could, along with 15mm spacers on the rear and 10mm on the front, really improve the stance of the car.Yep 30mm but I thought you wanted to keep the car stock, if so you could go with BMW sport springs but they are 15mm
Just have fun with it pal, and lowering with spacers does greatly enhance the look of a Z3, a lot less tractor likeThat's a good point mate and that was the plan however, the seats are just great and I'm sure I'd struggle to get a set of sports seats in the same condition and at a sensible price! Couldn't agree more pal - as a kid I've been down the over modding road subsequently forgetting to enjoy the car. Springs, spacers and a strut brace will be enough.Just have fun with it pal, and lowering with spacers does greatly enhance the look of a Z3, a lot less tractor likeespecially as you already have a great set of wheels

What do you mean! It's only a slippery slope if you allow it to be, oh dear lol!Once you start with mods its a very slippy slope and theres always something, as so many of us know![]()
I keep thinking im at the bottom of the slope and then someone digs a deeper hole and i seem to slide into itWhat do you mean! It's only a slippery slope if you allow it to be, oh dear lol!![]()

Just putting that list there and see where you at in year....these cars were not complete from the factory in my opinion and BMW made them just so easy to customize. It would be rude not too really!Springs, spacers and a strut brace will be enough.
