Lowering Spring fitted at the Zed Shed

Looking good Steve. Nice job.

How do the rear springs sit? I've seen a lot of people complain about H&R rears because they have "dead coils" that touch.

Thinking of picking up a set and some spacers, but i'm still unsure.

Top mod pal, I love the difference they made to mine, I have so much more confidence in the car.

After a tazz round today it looks like the springs have settled down even lower.
The old girl looks sweet but can't see me pushing her as hard as Lee did as I would have to change my boxers more often =))
Hi Steve, how much have they settled by, I changed my rear shocks and springs this weekend, springs were 15mm shorter than to old ones, but has ended up with a much bigger space between tyre and wheel arch. But also got a difference of 9mm between both sides. I'm hoping a good thrash will settle them down, couldn't do it today as it was really wet.

Mine are a 30mm drop and have settled down nicely.
I wonder why yours have risen !

... after finding it likes to go sideways when you push on a bit... :nailbiting:.
But you weren't pushing that hard Steve=))

Can anyone at the Zed shed give me any idea how much of a job it is to change the rear bushes, and any special tools needed, also can it be done on the ground or do I need a ramp or lift.
Thank you.
Tec

Defo best to ask the experts but i know lee does the work on a jack and stands so can be done at home on a secure flat surface :)
Think you may need a local garage to push out the old bushes and put new ones in (if they are the ones im thinking of that i have dropped off before)

@Low Rider your car looks lovely now :) ride height is sitting perfectly now! Was nice to get home before you were gone this time.

I have H&R springs on my zed which i love! Hasnt compromised the comfort at all and she handles so well! @Lee gives her some welly to make sure she handles how she should :)
