A Martin Smith 6 string Banjo ( cant be arsed to learn new fingering !!!)

And one High Tech….
A Roland Ax-Edge keytar. ( keyboard that you play like a guitar !!!!
Very cool !!
And a present from my stepson Dean and his wife Karen.

maybe you can inspire me with some words of wisdom and motivation.
bought this combo last year, never touched it ever since.
why did I do it?
i was planing to retire and learn how to play.
but they almost doubled my salary and asked me ti stay for another year.
so, in a month, finally I will have time to learn music and play this evil instrument.
Any advice would be appreciated.
my knowledge on the subject is equal to an elephants capability in yoga.
You seem like the person who can be my inspiration… please… tell me it is easy….

I have a similar Gretsch guitar…. And amp ( which I gave to my step son)

You need to keep practicing….. My stepson started last Christmas, but doing an on line tutor ( sorry no idea which one ) but in the last year he had progressed really well , so much so, that I have said if he is up for it, we will do a gig together next year.

It doesnt happen overnight …. Unless you play Air guitar(Tossers !!!) but really fun as you improve. Just dont give up !!

There's a fault on that amp, it only goes up to 10. Take it back and tell them you want a proper one.

Glutton for Punishment!!! , but I will try to get it done before Christmas.

( but really excited as a local Radio Station want to play my proper Christmas song again on Xmas Day and on their outside broadcasts leading up to Xmas Day )
