A crazy love story...
I was born and raised in Southern California. As a young single mother at 25, I was spending hours on the freeways to and from school, work, daycare, family etc. One day while looking at all these cool, sporty, fast, hot rods convertibles I said “ Someday I’m going own that car”! A Convertible BMW.
A few years later I purchased a 94 Mercury Capri Convertible. I had A convertible, I could Afford it. I was happy it did have a small backseat for young kiddos in toe. Then 12 years later, I moved to South Carolina and bought a 2004 BMW 325i Sports package with a sun roof. 4 door sedan. LOVED IT. We had many wonderful years together but she was put to rest.
Last month I received a call from my husband telling me he purchased my dream car “What dream car?” here’s the address pick up “it’s yours”! I love his Harley Rides but he did admit he misses our convertible dates, Sunday drives, wine tasting, house hunting etc.
2001 BMW Z3 2.5i Roadster. I Never expected this.... all those memories sitting on the freeways came flooding back. Couldn’t be happier later in life...dreams do come true.
