Lovely Day Out

My wife Tricia and I met up with Alan ( @Alan Slade ) and Maxine today at Goodwood Control Tower Café.
After coffee and CAKE !!, had a wander round looking at loads of Morgans that were on the circuit.
After a few laps made by some of them earlier on, about 50 lined up on the track for a photoshoot.
Quite impressive......but would have been better if they were Zeds though !!

Anyway, After a wander round to see the planes, we went off for a run round the countryside in the sun. Stopped for drinks and more CAKE, in a lovely little village tea house, then a few more miles before parting company at a T junction.

Great to meet up with a forum member and looking forward to doing it again

The only downside of the day for me was finding out my car doesn't have any good stuff on it. Alans car has some real cool extras !!!!!!!
Need to get more toys fitted on the wagon

We really enjoyed the day too!! Impromptu meets always seem to be the best IMHO.
Sorry our car has lots of blingy bits, but they are just that, bling. I was more than impressed by your retro fitted heated seats, something I will have to think about.It
Must agree the Morgans were impressive, never seen so many, 3 wheelers and all. I've included a few more pictures and one from last year. They copied us!!
Must arrange something similar again.

Mmmm Morgans. Got taken out in a Plus8 by the bloke that owned the garage that my mother used to work at at an impressionable age, sure made an impression. A raucous beast, and probably the fastest thing I'd been in at the time. The Z seems refined in comparison.
