Loose handle

Hi guys,
My driver side door handle is on it's way out, do I need to replace the whole handle or can I just replace the knackered catch ?

Anybody has one for sale ?

The picture is confusing. Is that the handle already removed from the car? What exactly is wrong? There are several parts that could be involved -- the handle, the actuator, the latch. Also consider replacing the rubber gaskets behind the handles. While in the door for any reason, there is much that can be done.

if you look carefully you can see that the catch that you pull to open the door has dropped, I need to pull harder to open the door now, everything else is good.
Yes the rubber gasket had it so will replace it too.

I can't see that in the picture. Is the handle off the car with a brick wall behind it? You have taken the door panel off and the interior of the door is open?
I am not sure that having to pull harder is the fault of the catch or handle. It is such a simple part with little to bind or resist, as I remember it. Perhaps the problem is in what the handle pulls on.

Not such a simple part, after all. I remember now, to change the rubber gasket, I just had to loose the handle and push it outward enough to slide the gasket down behind it. Didn't take it out.
