Nice name for a village or town!

Looks like a good place to drop the kids off at the pool

Its probably twinned with Boggy Bottom in Hertfordshire

I lived in a village and my road was called Poke Hole, I remember being on the phone and gave my address to a lady and she just couldn't contain herself

There's a "Crapple Lane" in a village near here ..............

Tony.

That's proper made me giggle!

Your car is parked very close to the curb in the photo - hope your alloys haven't suffered?

There was a tv programme on recently about the origin of street names. Street names were traditionally named after the type of activity that went on there, and some of the names in medieval England left little to the imagination. A popular street name that was occupied by brothels etc was Gropec**t Lane. This was changed to Grape Lane in many instances in modern times. This can be confirmed very easily by doing a quick google search or wiki search.
