Ah. I need one 2001 or later. I live in London and we’re getting an upgrade on the ‘Ultra Low Emissions Zone’... anything before 2001 will end up costing me loads of money to drive down my own street.

You need a euro 4 engine I believe, my 99 2.8 is euro 3 and will be subject to the extortionate fraudulent tax. Most cars after circa 2005 are ok some earlier but not sure about other z3s.

The online checker gives the impression that post-2001 cars will pass the ULEZ limit. Any engine size, as long as it’s 2001 or newer. So I should be alright.

I don’t mind the charge coming in. Any way of improving air quality is alright by me. Gotta get rid of my diesel, so want to get something fun in its place.

I might have this 2.2 for sale ASAP if the 911 I’m after is ok.
As hate the car and don’t feel proud to own it. If anything embarrassed to drive it

Just spent another £500 on having the complete rear brakes replaced with genuine bmw parts. Disks. Pads. Shoes. Backing plates. Pipes hoses etc

12 months mot and genuine bmw supplied and painted sills and a panels.

Fully refurbished wheels.

Rear screen new but seal is crap. Have another bmw roof to go with car.

Car underneath is full of surface rust. Everytime you try to replace something a list grows of rusted bits

No history just what I’ve spent. Around 2 k on it.

And had gearbox oil and diff oil changed today while on the ramp

It’s ALMOST perfect. But I need a 2001 or later for the Euro pass for Low Emmissions in london
