Recently took my Z3 into a BMW garage for some work on the rocker gasket and spark plugs. Very expensive. I'm looking for a BMW mechanic who is willing to do private work. I live in Hertfordshire - can anyone recommend a mechanic to me? Thanks
 
Main dealer prices are always horrendous. If you can't find a private one it's worth looking around the indies - a simple google search for `independent BMW specialists Hertfordshire' does bring up a few. Good Luck
